KLAY Copenhagen was my very first retailer.
I met Tine in her shop, and as we talked, we discovered that we had mutual friends. She then asked if she could sell my jewelry, and of course, I accepted without hesitation.
It’s truly an honor to be part of Tine’s beautiful store. Her minimalist style and keen eye for uniquely crafted pieces make this collaboration a perfect match for my brand.
Who are you, and what is your occupation?
I am a self-taught ceramic artist and designer from Copenhagen, and the owner of KLAY Copenhagen, where I have my pottery studio and shop. I am passionate about all things handmade and the stories behind craftsmanship.
What is your jewelry style, and what is important to you when buying jewelry?
My jewelry style is probably in line with what I create in ceramics. I like when a piece is timeless with a modern twist—something you want to keep forever and possibly pass down to future generations.
How is your connection with Sisse Dinesen Jewelry?
I met Sisse through a mutual friend who introduced us, believing our businesses would be a great match. She was right, and I have now been a proud retailer of Sisse Dinesen Jewelry for about four years.
What is your favorite piece of jewelry from Sisse Dinesen Jewelry?
It’s difficult to choose just one favorite piece from Sisse because I have many that I love to wear every day. But right now, it’s probably my Monica necklace with moonstones.
It’s so timeless yet modern, and I think it can be styled in so many ways.
What piece of Sisse Dinesen Jewelry is on your wishlist for your next purchase?
My next purchase might be a bracelet or necklace from the Link Collection in gold. My birthday is coming up soon, so it’s definitely on my wishlist!
