How the Idea Was Born

I once had a customer who wanted to give her future husband a very special wedding morning gift. She wanted the organic shape I use in my flame pendant necklace but with her fingerprint embedded in it.

We experimented with different techniques until we found the perfect result. I simply thought the idea was too good not to share, and I wanted all my wonderful customers to have the opportunity to order something similar. That’s why I developed the Fingerprint concept, which is now available on my webshop and through a few special selected  retailers.

Different Shapes

The wax used is similar to modeling clay, allowing you to create any shape you desire. The most popular choice is the classic round shape. However, you can also create a triangular shape, a heart, a letter, or a small flower. The only limit is your imagination! Feel free to experiment until you find the perfect shape that fulfills your vision and dreams for your piece of jewelry.

Pet Prints

You can also use the wax to create a lasting memory of your pet. By taking an imprint, you can capture the rough texture of their nose or paws.

Tips and Tricks

You can redo the imprint as many times as you like until you achieve the perfect result.
Sometimes, the wax may feel too warm and "stick" to the skin. A useful trick is to place the wax in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes to make it firm again before use. For very young children, fingerprints may not be well-defined. In such cases, making an imprint of the palm instead can be a great alternative.
